Opening hours
All our day care locations are open Monday – Friday, year-round, closing only for official Dutch holidays. Day Care children attend full-day sessions but parents are free to collect their child at any point during the day. Parents of pre-school aged children wanting morning care only may wish to opt for our Pre-School – available for children aged 2.5 years and above. Please, see our Childcare Rates & Packages page for information on costs.
Drop-off and Pick-up
Our Day Care locations open at 07:30. We recommend that parents arrive at the centre for pick-up no later than 18:20 to enable the teacher to provide an adequate update on the child’s day as well as to give you and your child a comfortable amount of time to prepare for departure. Staff shifts end at 18:30. Please note that you are free to pick up your child at any time during the day.

Requests for extra days
If you would like your child to come in for extra day(s) please contact our office to check availability. We will approve the extra day(s) request if we have enough teachers working on the day(s) and the number of children has not reached the limit.
Official holidays
Please note that we are only closed on official Dutch public holidays. All Zein locations and services are closed on the official Dutch public holidays listed below:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Monday
- King’s Day
- Ascension Day
- Pentecost (Whit Monday)
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
