A child’s early years lay the foundation for all that is to come. We are dedicated to providing quality international childcare, positive interactive learning and memorable experiences for the children in our care whilst building language skills in Dutch and Enlgish. Our Day Care Practitioners guide, inspire children between 0-4 years of age.

Day Care practitioners are required to hold qualifications enabling them to work in Childcare in the Netherlands, have experience working in a childcare setting and a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework. In addition to this, they must have strong organisational and teamwork skills, a good level of computer literacy and an up-to-date First Aid certificate.

For our bilingual groups, excellent written and verbal English is required, as well as fluency in Dutch. In the group, each teacher speaks the language they have primary ownership of: one teacher consistently speaks English with the children whilst the other consistently speaks Dutch.

Our bilingual Out of School Care Practitioners/Teachers guide, inspire and look after children between 4-12 years of age, whilst supporting them in developing foundation skills and confidence in both English and Dutch.

Out of School Care Practitioners/Teachers are required to hold qualifications enabling them to work in Childcare in the Netherlands, preferably with an additional sporting qualification and with experience working in a childcare setting. In addition to this, they must have strong organisational and teamwork skills, excellent written and verbal Dutch and English communication skills, a good level of computer literacy and an up-to-date First Aid certificate.

ZEIN FLEX TEAM PRACTITIONER/TEACHER (ALSO FOR STUDENTS)

Zein Flex Childcare Practitioners (Inval Pedagogisch Medewerkers) are part of an international, friendly and dynamic team. Members of the Flex Team will be assigned to Day Care, Pre-School or After School Care groups, depending on their experience. All Zein Childcare Practitioners are required to hold qualifications enabling them to work in Childcare in the Netherlands.

Due to the flexible working hours, students are often enthusiastic about joining our FLEX team. HBO Pedagogy students, as well as students from several other Sports and Arts related studies, can work in After School and Holiday Camps with just 50% of their study credits (or proof of transition to 3rd or 4th year), and Day Care and Pre-School with just 75% of their credits (or proof of transition to 4th year) and will receive a full teacher’s salary.
