The Oaks (Kijkduin)

Zein’s Out of School Care provision for the International School of The Hague is situated in the modern, architectural building of Die Haghe Football Club, with an adjoining natural playground, conveniently located on the sports fields directly behind the school.

The club house building has been designed from the outset for multipurpose use. The top floor serves as the club house for the soccer club, whilst the majority of the ground floor is for the exclusive use of Zein Out of School Care children aged 4-12 from the International School. The interior décor and chunky wood furnishings offer the same homely feel as the other Zein locations and anatural playground, consisting of a wide range of wooden play equipment, complete the facilities at this great new location.

Access & Parking

Located in the Kijkduin area of The Hague, The Oaks can be reached in the following ways:

BY CAR
There is limited parking available by the entrance of the sports club.

BY BIKE
Located in Kijkduin, this location can be reached by bike safely.

BUS ROUTES
Bus 31: disembark at stop ‘Ockenburghstraat’ and you will have a 11 minute’s walk to The Oaks.
Bus 26: disembark at stop ‘Westduin’ and you will have a 8 minute’s walk to The Oaks.

TRAM ROUTES
Tram 3: disembark at stop ‘Pisuissestraat’ and you will have a 10 minute’s walk to The Oaks.

Opening Hours & Camp Days

We run holiday camps at The Oaks from Monday – Friday from 08:00-18:30 during:

  • All school holidays of The International School of The Hague
  • All additional ISH closure days (think of staff inset days, student conferences etc.)
  • All school holidays of the Dutch Schools

The holidays of the International School are aligned with the holidays of Dutch schools and our holiday camps at The Oaks are open to children from all international & Dutch schools.

Closure Days 

All Zein locations and services, including Holiday Camps, are closed on the official Dutch public holidays listed below:
