Seventh location for Zein International Childcare as number of international families in The Hague region continues to grow
Friday, October 4, 2019

For the new school year 2019-2020, we have opened ‘The Pines’ – our seventh location in The Hague region. Located on the premises of Tennis Park WW in the Benoordenhout area, The Pines offers an English-speaking After School and Holiday Care programme with a supplementary focus on discovering various sport disciplines. During recent years, the number of international families in The Hague has continued to grow rapidly, resulting in growing student numbers across the international primary schools in the area. With further growth predicted, the opening of this brand-new location is the result of our continued commitment to meeting the demand for international childcare places.

Ngozi Uche, Director of Zein International Childcare: ‘’The programme of The Pines will offer a worthy and enjoyable extension to the day of every child in our care; alongside a varied activity programme, we look forward to making the most of the facilities of the sports park by exploring the different sports offered on the premises. What sets us apart, however, is our pedagogic approach which focuses on social-emotional competences and the uniqueness of every child. Together with a team of passionate childcare professionals with international backgrounds, we strive – each and every day – to create an environment where each child feels at home after a long day at school. To support this approach, The Pines has been completely renovated and furnished to the highest standards with stylish natural wallpaper, soft carpeted areas, and wooden furnishings to provide that same welcoming environment all other Zein locations are known for.”

After School pick-ups at Haagsche Schoolvereeniging
Students attending both the international and Dutch departments of the Haagsche Schoolvereeniging (HSV) will be collected at school at the end of the day – making their way over to The Pines by private bus transport.

Partner Schools
By opening the Pines, we now providee individual Out of School Care locations for each of the following international schools in the region: The Haagsche Schoolvereeniging, The British School in The Netherlands, The International School of The Hague, Lycée Français and The European School The Hague. Whilst exclusively available to students of the partner schools on school days, during the holidays, the out of school care locations are open to students of all international schools and Dutch schools in the area.
