As part of the ‘Adventurous Pirates’ theme, our older campers created their very own treasure maps. To give the map an old and wrinkled look, the children stained the paper by pressing wet teabags onto the paper. Once... Read More

During the week commencing 25 July it was all about Performing Arts at The Elms and The Estate.
Over the course of the week, campers got to explore the many different aspects that go into creating a theatre show. Earlier this month we were delighted to welcome a new chef to our Estate location.
With a new chef come new ideas - and one of this week's new snacks was a rose shaped pastry with apple, cinnamon, and mango puree as a natural sweetener.
Having a full-time chef cooking for the children on-site not only ensures that the children eat healthy and organic meals, but it also allows the chef to work together closely with the teachers in the groups. Together they discuss menus for the different age... Read More
The highlight of this week was - without question - the graduation ceremonies of the children in our Day Care and Pre-School locations. The ceremonies are a celebration of the completion of the first big step in the children's lives as they leave for 'big school' - and allow us to thank the families for trusting us with the care of their child.
Parents and siblings alike were invited to attend the short but important ceremony that serves as the children's first clear 'rite of passage' in their... Read More
