Performing Arts & Dance Camp - Summer 2022
Don't miss the moment when the curtain rises for a week of fun at our Performing Arts Camp! Campers will discover a diverse programme featuring different kinds of acting and dance-related activities...
About Performing Arts & Dance Camp
From improvising and imitating movements to building a choreography, and from the dancer in the mirror performance to miming a scene - we’ve got things covered! Campers will learn to express emotions through movement and facial expressions as well as how to re-enact characters through accents and different voices. The activities are age-appropriate and are designed to improve communication and confidence, as well as specific performance and dance skills. This camp is guaranteed to be a blast for performers in the making, as well as quieter children who will be gently encouraged as their confidence grows.
In addition to the workshop activities specifically focusing on the theme of the week each camp also includes fun sports and recreational games, and two field trips. Click the link to see what a typical day at camp looks like.
Performing Arts Camp runs Monday - Friday from 08:00-18:30. The last drop off time is 09:30 to ensure all children can enjoy the full programme. Children can be picked-up anytime between 17:00 - 18:30.

Our programme wouldn't be complete without field trips! Therefore, each weekly programme provides two field trips, offering a suitable balance between time spent on and away from the camp location for children of all ages.
- Off-site theatre workshops delivered by professional instructors every Tuesday and Thursday.
With the support of theatre professionals, children will learn to use their imagination to build stories; choosing and formulating storylines and creating characters. Older children will receive more tools to express themselves through different emotions whilst the younger children enjoy fun games aimed at supporting their improvisation techniques. Together, children will work towards creating their own storylines and scences.
Our holiday camps are open to everyone. English is the main language spoken, but many of our teachers are international and speak multiple languages. Where possible, and if needed, they will take the time to explain things in your child's mother tongue.
Additionally, as Zein is the official childcare partner of all key international schools in the region as well as various local Dutch schools, our staff is trained to apply simple techniques to help children understand the daily routine and quickly become part of the group, regardless of the language they speak.
The camps are also increasingly popular among Dutch children, who enjoy the opportunity to practice their English in a relaxed and informal setting - after all, learning works best when you're having fun!
All our camps and activities are led by our qualified childcare practitioners and carried out in an age-appropriate format for children aged 4 – 6 and 7 – 12. Where relevant we make use of professional sports teachers and other specialists - all of whom have pedagogical and safety training. Our holiday camps offer exciting hands-on activities, sports, recreational games and field-trips in a safe and non-competitive environment.
