Multi-Sports Tennis Camp

Multi-Sports Tennis Day Camps run in The Hague Monday 31 July - Friday 4 August

Our Multi-Sports Tennis Camp is the perfect choice for those looking for an active camp that combines this popular sport with a range of other fun games and activities.

As they step onto the court, the combination of a professionally trained tennis coach with our pedagogical staff, will ensure that every child will have fun, make memories, and come home with more confidence in their abilities.

Depending on their age and experience, children will focus on:

  • basics of ball control
  • racket control
  • footwork
  • basic rules
  • serving
  • returning
  • backhand
  • forehand
  • volleys

Throughout the week your child will also learn about other important sporting skills - such as being a good sport, playing with integrity and setting personal goals.

During the course of the camp there will also be plenty of time for other fun activities and team games. For our younger campers in particular, a programme of games and activities will run alongside the tennis coaching to ensure they have a variety of experiences in their camp day.  Each camp also includes fun sports and recreational games, and two field trips. Zein is the trusted partner to most of the international schools in The Hague including The British School, The International School of The Hague, The European School, The French Lycee and de Haagsche Schoolvereeniging. Please note however that families are free to select any of Zein's out of school care locations for holiday camps based on their preference of the theme. All four locations are registered and fully licensed, so working or families can claim part of the costs for the camps back via the Dutch Childcare allowance.

What language is spoken at the holiday camps?

Our holiday camps are open to everyone. English is the main language spoken, but many of our teachers are international and speak multiple languages. Where possible, and if needed, they will take the time to explain things in your child's mother tongue.

The camps also offer Dutch children the perfect opportunity to practice their English in a relaxed and informal setting - after all, learning works best when you're having fun!

Do you have qualified staff?

All our camps and activities are led by our qualified childcare workers and carried out in age appropriate format for children aged 4 – 6 and 7 – 12. Where relevant we make use of professional sports teachers and other specialists - all of whom have pedagogical and safety training.  Our holiday camps offer exciting hands-on activities, sports, recreational games and field-trips in a safe and non-competitive environment.

How much does it cost?

The gross cost (without childcare allowance) is €89.25 per day or €446.25 per week. This price includes healthy organic meals and snacks throughout the day; entrance fees and transport for field trips; and all materials and instruction.
