'Hello Holland!' Activity Camp

'Hello Holland!' Activity Camp runs in The Hague from Monday 14 – Friday 18 August and Monday 28 August – Friday 1 September

'The perfect holiday camp for new arrivals. Enjoy an activity filled week learning about your surroundings – the culture, the city, the people, and the language – and just some of the many great things to do here in Holland…

Are you new to Holland – or do you have a colleague or friend who will be relocating with their children to The Hague this summer? If so, ‘Hello Holland’ - Zein’s brand new Holiday Camp for new arrivals - could be just what you’re looking for!

Making new friends
Holiday times at Zein Childcare are based on two key concepts: having great fun with friends and discovering new things…  But what if your child is new here, school still hasn't started and they haven’t had the chance to make those all important new friends?  Safe in the knowledge that pretty much everyone is going to be a ‘new kid’, we will make sure that your child quickly feels welcome.  Special games and activities will be planned in the first morning to break the ice and help form the foundations for friendships as the day and week progresses.

From Clogs to Cheese; Delft to Rotterdam
Whether it’s Clog Painting, Cheese Making or creating their own Delft Blue artwork, we guarantee there will be something for everyone in this fun packed week. The camp week will also feature two fabulous themed field trips to great attractions suitable for all ages and interests. Traditional Dutch sports and games will provide plenty of chance for laughter and our Dutch related craft activities will allow those creative streaks to show through. The children will also meet with our trained Day Care Chefs to learn some fun traditional Dutch recipes...

Think it’s only fun for newcomers?!
Think again! The trips and activities are fun for everyone – and who better to help other children feel at home than those who are already settled here?  So, even if your child has lived here all their life, they’ll still have great fun.  Before you know it, they’ll be ‘Special Helpers’ for the week and sharing their knowledge about living in Holland with their new friends.
