May Camps Programme 2020

Zein May Camps 2020

ABOUT THE CAMPS
During the upcoming BSN May holidays, we will be running exciting Multi-Activity Camps where our Little Explorers (ages 4-6) and Big Adventurers (ages 7-12) can discover new interests and further develop their talents! The camps run simultaneously with the holidays of the British School, on week days from 08:00 - 18:30 hrs.

Having a full and varied programme at all out of school care locations, there is always something for every child while attending the camp - from numerous exciting activities to outdoor & indoor sports and recreational games. The programme is carefully put together as it is arranged per age group to ensure children of all ages will have great fun and are able to learn new skills.

The camps will be running at The Willows and The Estate. Please see the sections below for more details on the dates, programme and daily organisation of activities.

Please note: To prevent the spread of Coronavirus and to ensure the safety of all children and teachers at Zein, there will be additional safety protocols in place throughout the May Holiday Camps.

Friday 22 May

Welcome to Camp! Today our campers will step into the kitchen and roll out some dough, making their own pizzas with a choice of delicious, healthy toppings. The Explorers (4-6yrs) will then make their own 3D caterpillar craft whilst the Adventurers make their own 3D Earth! The afternoon will include dance and music time for everybody followed by sports and recreational games.

*SECOND WEEK*

Monday 25 May

Our crafty campers will start the week with a day of arty activities! The Explorers will build a monster out of play dough before making monster bookmarks and a watercolour garland. Our Adventurers will have a competition to build the best and most creative Gumdrop structures! As usual, all days will be end with sports and recreational games.

Tuesday 26 May

Recycling is the name of the game for The Estate Explorers this morning – they will be making and decorating bird houses from milk cartons! Then they will make lovely little turtles out of paper plates. The Adventurers will be using popsicle sticks to make their own brilliant bird houses. Afterwards, everybody will enjoy making their own Spring Slime with foam beads. As usual, all days will be complemented with sports and recreational games.

Wednesday 27 May

Ready, Steady, Cook! This morning our Explorers will make spring apple fruit doughnuts whilst our Adventurers will whip up a batch of bunny tails (truffles!). The afternoon will be spent doing arts and crafts – Explorers will make paper roll hyacinth flowers and our Adventures will make yarn-wrapped cardboard letters. As usual, all days will be complemented with sports and recreational games.

Thursday 28 May

Today our Explorers will get creative, making magical unicorns out of popsicle sticks, glue and colourful card! They will then create flowers using the outlines of their own hands before playing musical statues!  Meanwhile, the Adventurers will make swirly whirly cosmic sun catchers and popsicle frames for their favourite photos before playing musical chairs. As usual, all days will be complemented with sports and recreational games.

Friday 29 May

Our Explorers will discuss what friends mean to them and make hand print friendship wreaths, before creating cute little ladybugs! Our Adventurers will do straw weaving followed by making their own mouldable moon sand! In the afternoon, all of our excitable campers will complete an egg hunt in the playground!
