* Brand new for 2017 * A great chance to join one of our talented Day Care Chefs as they lead a cookery camp specially designed for each age group.
Spend a week on activity camp with a cookery focus... Experience Chef Alex will attend every location during the week to provide full instruction to all the children, with the assistance of the normal holiday camp teachers.. Bread rolls, Pancakes, Raspberry Apple Granola, Scones and Summer rolls are just some of the recipes on the list. On top of that there will be opportunities for the children, as well as the teachers, to come up with their own suggestions for different international dishes for the children to try preparing.
To keep things interesting there will naturally be time for a full range of fun and active outside games, as well as craft activities inside such as the making of Chef's hats and making your own bread box. Additionally, the campers will go on exciting field trips to an animal farm and fruit farm.
A final creation of chocolate and vanilla ice cream will top off a delicious week of fun!

Zein is the trusted partner to most of the international schools in The Hague including The British School, The International School of The Hague, The European School, The French Lycee and de Haagsche Schoolvereeniging. Please note however that families are free to select any of Zein's out of school care locations for holiday camps. All four locations are registered and fully licensed, so working or families can claim part of the costs for the camps back via the Dutch Childcare allowance.
Our holiday camps are open to everyone. English is the main language spoken, but many of our teachers are international and speak multiple languages. Where possible, and if needed, they will take the time to explain things in your child's mother tongue.
The camps also offer Dutch children the perfect opportunity to practice their English in a relaxed and informal setting - after all, learning works best when you're having fun!
All our camps and activities are led by our qualified childcare workers and carried out in age appropriate format for children aged 4 – 6 and 7 – 12. Where relevant we make use of professional sports teachers and other specialists - all of whom have pedagogical and safety training. Our holiday camps offer exciting hands-on activities, sports, recreational games and field-trips in a safe and non-competitive environment.
The gross cost (without childcare allowance) is €89.25 per day or €446.25 per week. This price includes healthy organic meals and snacks throughout the day; entrance fees and transport for field trips; and all materials and instruction.
Please note that all our camps are held at registered childcare locations. Dutch childcare allowance is available for parents working or studying in the Netherlands irrespective of nationality. Our staff will be happy to help you apply.
