Cookery Camp Summer 2018

Cookery Camp Summer 2018

A cookery camp specially designed for each age group

About Cookery Camp
During Cookery Camp, the children will enjoy a culinary "journey" as they will learn how to prepare different meals and snack from all over the world. From British Banana Muffins to Mexican Palestas. On top of that there will be opportunities for the children, as well as the teachers, to come up with their own suggestions for different international dishes for the children to try preparing.

To keep things interesting there will naturally be time for a full range of fun and active outside games, as well as craft activities inside such as the making of Chef's hats and making your own bread box. Additionally, the campers will go on two exciting field trips.

Zein is the trusted partner to most of the international schools in The Hague including The British School, The International School of The Hague, The European School, The French Lycee and de Haagsche Schoolvereeniging. Please note however that families are free to select any of Zein's out of school care locations for holiday camps. All our locations are registered and fully licensed, so working or families can claim part of the costs for the camps back via the Dutch Childcare allowance.

What language is spoken at the holiday camps?

Our holiday camps are open to everyone. English is the main language spoken, but many of our teachers are international and speak multiple languages. Where possible, and if needed, they will take the time to explain things in your child's mother tongue.

The camps also offer Dutch children the perfect opportunity to practice their English in a relaxed and informal setting - after all, learning works best when you're having fun!

Do you have qualified staff?

All our camps and activities are led by our qualified childcare workers and carried out in age appropriate format for children aged 4 – 6 and 7 – 12. Where relevant we make use of professional sports teachers and other specialists - all of whom have pedagogical and safety training.  Our holiday camps offer exciting hands-on activities, sports, recreational games and field-trips in a safe and non-competitive environment.

How much does it cost?

The gross cost (without childcare allowance) is €91,88 per day or €459,40 per week. This price includes healthy organic meals and snacks throughout the day; entrance fees and transport for field trips; and all materials and instruction.

Please note that all our camps are held at registered childcare locations. Dutch childcare allowance is available for parents working or studying in the Netherlands irrespective of nationality. Our staff will be happy to help you apply.

How do I make a booking?

Bookings can be made via our online booking form. Your booking will be confirmed by DebiCare, our registration company, within 2-3 working days. If you would like to discuss your booking please contact a member of our team using 070 326 8263 or info@zeinchildcare.nl
